Your Ents Team
Hi Sidney,
As Ents Officer, myself, along with my teams of Ents Reps, are in charge of providing Sidney in the best of Entertainment, providing everyone the chance to relax after those long essay sessions.
This means that we are in charge of setting up and running the bops - the staple of Sidney relaxation - as well as deciding the themes for them, cleaning up after, and dealing with any problems that may arise during it. They're a lot of fun, and a great way to meet new peoples throughout the years.
BOPS!
Bops are the highlight of the SSCSU Ents calendar. They are fortnightly themed disco-type fun evenings when everyone dresses up to suit the theme and comes down to the bar for a night of fun & frolicks. And the person with the best costume wins a prize!
Recent prize winners:
| Time travel Bop - Charles and Dean amazed everyone as Bill and Ted! | |
| Children's TV Bop - Steph Ray blocked the corridor on arrival as people stopped to witness her donning a box as Spongebob Squarepants. She received a Smurf t-shirt in exchange for her inability to move efficiently. Huge apologies to Steph for the absence of her photo, but the SSCSU website refuses to upload it! | |
| Valentines Bop - Dan Sargeant wowed the crowds dressed as a condom. He received a Valentines cuddly toy & mug for his talent with cling film, and promoted the 'play safe' message with unerring flair. | |
| Musicals Bop - Jessica Tayenjam fought off competition yet again to win herself a set of 'Songs from the Musicals' CDs, dressed as the tin man. | |
|
Superheroes bop - Katherine Hirst, Tess Sanders, Emma Smith & Jessica Tayenjam as The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The girls received a DVD and free drinks for their efforts. |
