The Contingency Fund

The Contingency Fund exists to provide funds for new clubs or societies. A new club or society must firstly become an affiliated SSCSU club or society which must be done by an Open Meeting motion. Once this has been passed the club may apply to the Junior Treasurer for funding from the contingency fund. The allocation of funds is at the discretion of the Junior Treasurer.

The Sports Project Fund

The Junior Treasurer administers the sports project fund which is an amount of money which SSCSU can allocate the affiliated sports clubs to cover unexpected expenses. In the past the fund has assisted SSCSU sports clubs purchase new sports equipment and kit when existing equipment has reached the end of its useful life. Any club or society whose captain believes their club may be entitled to funds from the Sports Project Fund should contact the Junior Treasurer detailing what the unanticipated expense is and how much money is required.
